ComeBack (Sold) Prints available. Inspired (by a Sunday drive to the top of a
mountain beside a burn above our community,)of the unflagging ability of Ma Nature
to come back. 6 x 7. soft pastel on sanded paper
Snow and Light (Sold) I am very glad that I did a rare thing and said "yes!" to joining friends on a toddle up to a place ringed in glaciers and decorated with the brilliant yellow larches that love high places. That was on October 8. By now it is probably all blanketed in snow, but the light on the glaciers was excellent that day; bits of sun peaking out between banks of clouds.

The Long View. A small image of the big picture. Kootenay Lake on a still day.

In The Bush - Australian Spring. A very short trip to Western Australia then back to Melbourne and area all in a few short days, inspired this image and leaves me (always) wanting to return to that beautiful land.

Days of May, The Bluffs . These bluffs, directly across from us on the northwest corner of Kootenay Lake, rise up almost 1000 feet above the lake. They offer endless interest, light, reflections in the lake and help to mark the seasons as the snow line goes up and down throughout the year. 7 1/2 x 9 1/2” soft pastel on sanded paper..

Creekside, Kaslo River. Such a lively, rushing directed waterway where it nears the mouth of the Kaslo River and joins Kootenay Lake. 8 x 10”. soft pastel on sanded paper.

Midges in May. There is something special about going to a birthday party on the "Flats" at the head of our lake. Always in the lovely month of May... and a magical place to gather, even with the odd bug here and there. The light and the place and the people are the perfect combination each time . 7 3/4 x 10 5/8” soft pastel on sanded paper.

Morning Walk. Almost every morning I go for a walk down the road and back for a couple of kms. As I turn south and head downhill I automatically look up at the skyline on the hill behind our house. Ever changing through the seasons, sometimes in early morning the light is wonderful and concentrated and intense behind the ragged skyline of trees.
5 3/8 x 11 1/2” soft pastel on sanded paper.

Richter. Highway 3 offers such a variety of landscape as you travel across BC. The South Okanagan, and particularly the Richter Pass lying between Osoyoos and Keremeos is just loaded with potential for new images.
This was an impression of the area, from a glance out the window as I drove along the road last summer. 9 1/4 x 16 1/2”. soft pastel on sanded paper

Loki Down The Lake(Sold) One of several iconic mountains that sit above Kootenay Lake, Loki must be the most beloved; used in titles and as a logo, often in photos, and a wonderful landmark to watch while sitting on the beach in Kaslo Bay listening to good tunes during Jazzfest each summer. 8 1/2 x 11” soft pastel on sanded paper.
